Spring 2020 Thai Dinner and Silent Auction – Important Update

To our wonderful supporters,

We have an important update to share regarding our Spring Thai Dinner and Silent Auction originally scheduled for April 28th, 2020. With the continuing concern surrounding COVID-19, we among many have decided an abundance of caution is the best route for everyone’s health and wellbeing. With that in mind, we have decided to postpone our spring fundraiser until further notice.
We do not take this decision lightly as it is an event we look forward to every year, and we are always so thrilled to see you all for a fun-filled night for a great cause. However, out of concern for you, your loved ones, and public health, we are deciding to abide by the recommendations of social distancing and avoiding dense public gatherings.
We apologize if this is of any inconvenience to you, and we thank you for your patience and understanding. We will update you as soon as soon as we are able to safely reschedule this event.

Looks like the snow is here to stay, decorations have begun to pop up around the city, and the holiday season has officially arrived. We are wishing a safe and happy holiday to you and your loved ones. We hope it is filled with warmth, laughter and love.

We are also wishing the same for our Jen’s House students, and you can help make sure that happens. This year, our holiday wish is simple: a home away from home for our Jen’s House students.

Our students must travel far from home for their education, without the comforting arms of their families, and we want Jen’s House to be as comfortable as possible for them. KLEO’s Annual Book Sale!

Our annual book sale is coming up!

Join us at the Dovercourt Recreation Centre to find some great books at a great price for a great cause!

Where: Dovercourt Recreation Centre – 411 Dovercourt Avenue, Ottawa, ON.
When: Saturday October 5th – Sunday, October 6th, 2019
Times: Saturday 9:00am-3:30pm, Sunday 9:30am-2:30pm

Books will be $2 each or 3 for $5. All proceeds go towards supporting education for ethnic minority students in Thailand.

We are also accepting donations of gently used books for the sale, so if you are interested please reach out to Coleen Scott at coleenscott51@gmail.com.
